QUOTES FROM 2003 RIDERS
Thanks for putting on a great
event. The amount of climbing, the volunteers and the raffle are what made
coming back worthwhile. Hand's down, a Must Do
Event! The Ride: Epic. Difficult. Exhilarating. Worth Every
second of Pain. (23-mile course). The Location: Beautiful.
Quiet. Secluded. Hills, lakes, quaint little town . . . Perfect. Event
Staff and Volunteers: First class. Positively responsive.
Encouraging. Informed. Many in number. Atmosphere: Couldn't
be better! Festive. Safe. Respectful. First Class!
This year's Lemurian
race was too much ! The course was brutal, torturous, gratuitously difficult,
sadistic..... God it was fun - can't wait till next year ! Thanks for putting on
an epic race. You and all that helped put on a first class event . See you next
year !!
Best race in Northern
California bar none!
The muddy, sloppy
downhill was a crack up and a blast. The usual creek crossings, turned raging
rivers, were a hoot! Mud! Tons of mud, and even a little snow near the peak.
You've gotta try this race, any course, just come out and enjoy the scenery, the
town, the event staff, the atmosphere, the food and The Ride!
How do you do it? Year after year the Lemurian is an epic event. The town of
French Gulch is fabulous; the snow course was great, maybe even more fun than
last year. The mudslide descent was a hoot; hopefully it will be wet and rainy
next year too! Well-marked course and a very organized event
great job!
